Amber Pendants

Amber is the fossilized sap of pre-historic trees. You can sometimes find ancient insects and animals that have been entombed in the setting resin. Amber can be from 40 to 125 Million years old, Needless to say, most of the trees that it comes from are extinct. It has a warm reddish to deep gold colour and is translucent. It has a metling point of between 150 and 180 Degrees Centigrade. On Moh’s scale of hardness it lies between 2 and 2.5 Other colours include yellow, white and Green.
