How to take a pulse

Nurses watches usually have one or two scales for measuring the pulse rate.
Wait until the second hand is at the start of the scale.
Count 15 of your patients pulse beats and read the beats per minute against the second hand.
Double scale fob watches trend to used by working nurses and single scale watches by senior staff.
